Burcu Akdere Akkus

Burcu Akdere Akkus is a Principal. She focuses on high-yield corporate credit investments in Emerging Markets.

Prior to Deva Capital, Burcu was a Vice President at Bank of America Securities, in the Emerging Markets distressed and special situations credit trading desk. Previously, she worked at UniCredit in London as an Associate in credit trading. She began her career as a Research Analyst in Fixed Income Index Design at IHS Markit.

Burcu holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York, a Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from the London School of Economics in London, and a BSc in Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul.
